Stop Invasive Species in Your Tracks

Fall is a busy time of the year. It is a time for gathering firewood and hunting trips. A few simple actions can help to prevent the spread of invasives. Invasive plants can hitchhike on tack, in mud & on firewood. Check your gear, tack, ATV’s & firewood for burrs & plant parts. Practice “Leave no Trace” camping & recreating. Protect our beautiful backcountry.

Help Prevent the Spread Of Invasive Plants and Animals:

REMOVE plants & mud from boots, gear, & boats.

CLEAN your gear before entering & leaving a site.

DRAIN & DRY equipment before launching to a new water body.

USE CERTIFIED or local firewood & hay.

STAY on designated roads & trails.
