Who doesn't like to watch cartoons? LRISS has recently tapped into the website called PowToon to create short animated videos about invasives. Our Executive Director designed a short introduction for a grade 10 science presentation. PowToon has great potential to help deliver our outreach program in a creative way. Cartoons capture people's attention at any age. They can simplify and add humour to a message that can otherwise be complicated and very detailed. LRISS has several Alien Invader characters based on nasty plants. Our video features Giant Hogweed. Check out the video on YouTube and tell us how you like it.
